Mosaic Elephant

The elephant had always been gray.
Neither beautiful nor ugly—simply ordinary.
Until one day, rain began to fall;
not water, but color.

As the drops touched its skin,
each one dried like a fragment of a small life:
red memories, blue dreams, green fears,
and yellow hopes settling last.

The next morning, the elephant was no longer gray;
it had become a mosaic.

A musician with a clown’s face approached from afar
and sat upon the elephant’s back.
Neither melody nor words came from his trumpet—
yet with every breath,
the colors on the elephant’s skin gleamed
and came alive again.

At the same time, on the far side of the water,
a carriage moved forward.
A woman stood within it, holding a balloon
that seemed to grow lighter in her hand,
while a gentle wind carried her from the earth toward the sky.
Beside her sat someone who understood
that the greatest journey in the world
is the passage from fear to trust.

That day, the elephant and the carriage traveled side by side—
not to escape the past,
but to build the future.

Fish danced beneath the water,
birds glided upon the wind,
and every living creature understood:

When something inside you breaks into pieces,
it does not always mean the end—
sometimes, you become a mosaic.

Not perfectly smooth,
not entirely complete,
but beautiful
and real.
